Major
Major are a new emo quartet from Kortrijk, Belgium that can’t sit still. The band formed in late 2015 and since then they have DIY recorded and released their first EP To The Wall and played numerous shows in support of bands like The Hotelier, Boston Manor and Apologies, I Have None and toured through Germany, Austria and Czech Republic. 2017 brings the band more tours and a new EP With So Much Open Space.
The signature sound Major has tried to forge to write this EP is based on soft melodies combined with passionate and explosive parts. Lyrically the EP mostly deals with love and the loss of it and all frustrations and pain around being young but equally about its sweetness and happiness. When listening to the songs with the text at hand you’ll hear that the text is perfectly aligned with the melodies and vocal lines.
