Between estrogenes, glitter nails and toxic masculinity – Talk on my experiences as a trans* woman

Maja runs Queers to the front Booking, a tour booking agency with roots heavy in the punk rock music, which prioritises working with marginalised artists. At Bakermat Dendermonde she will talk about her experiences as a trans*woman, coming out, navigating society as a queer person and exploring body images and awareness.

The talk lasts approximately one hour, with time for Q&As at the end. There will be chairs provided.

There will be a music aspect to this evening, provided by Beth Munroe Music, a DIY london-based Indietronica artist, guitarist, vocalist, synth player, loop artist and producer. Using soulful vocals and thoughtful lyrics alongside guitar, synth, samples and loops to create an ambient wall of sound.
Recently featured on BBC Introducing, as well as being honoured as one of the headliners of the BBC Music Day Festival in London, Beth has been critically acclaimed by industry and fans alike as one to watch.

This event is FREE ENTRY, you will be able to make donations or buy merchandising (shirts, music,..) from Queers to the front Booking and Beth Munroe Music to help support the artists.

There will be a safer spaces policy in place for this event and all events scheduled for Flood Festival 2019. More info on this soon.
