Flood Festival 2018
Wednesday 15 August at 16:00 - 23:00
JH Zenith, Otterstraat 58, Dendermonde
WEDNESDAY AUGUST 15th (national holiday!)
2 INDOOR STAGES – VEGAN FOOD – FESTIVAL MARKET
Full of Hell (US – Relapse Records)
Elements of grindcore, death and black metal, punk and hardcore with a smattering of sonically laden power electronics and industrial pounding. About five years ago these guys played a tiny basement that served as a rehearsal space in Maaseik. The few people who attended knew this band would reach far further than the few houses they did then. Releasing 3 full length records, a handful of eps, splits and collaborations with Merzbow, The Body, Nails,. the list speaks for itself. Get your mind numbed and your head ripped off.
Gulfer (CA – Big Scary Monsters)
Math-rock/emo/punk band from Montreal, Canada. Blew our minds a few years ago on our emo-line-up-of-the-year with Sport and I Love Your Lifestyle. Very very very excited to have them back!
The Winter Passing (IR – Big Scary Monsters)
Like FI-NAL-LY! This female-fronted heavy indie pop band has been on our list since forever and it’s happening foreal this summer!
Soul Grip (BE – Consouling Sounds)
Post black metal band formed by a bunch of young all-star musicians.
Monkey Juice (BE)
Young noisy stoner grunge.
Natalie Evans (UK – Small Pond Recordings)
Reviving the acoustic stage at Floodfest was a must when Natalie Evans dropped in our mailbox. Her bittersweet guitar melodies and voice will take your mind to places it hasn’t been in a while.
Coldsore (BE – Flood Records)
DMD’s emo-est of emo. Lovely boys playing nice.
The Waiting Game (BE – Thanks But No Thanks Records)
Think fresh punkrock and emo with a strong 90’s vibe and an endless amount of passion.
The individuals dissolve into the machine, leaving the “kolektiv” as a nameless entity that drones and pulsates music somewhere in between Tool, Deftones and Thrice.
You know that acoustic kinda thing every pop-punk band does? Nerd does it better!
Presale: 15 Euro (incl costs).
